MEET OUR SENIOR STAFF

 

Neil B. Prenn, P.E.

Mr. Prenn started Mine Development Associates (MDA) in 1987 and serves as its President. Prior to MDA he was Vice President and General Manager for major a mining company with extensive experience in precious metals. Mr. Prenn has over 30 years experience as a practicing Mining Engineer performing tasks associated with defining and calculating ore reserves, designing mines, optimizing mine designs, mine planning and scheduling, analyzing capital and operating costs, and managing staff.  He has conducted feasibility and pre-feasibility studies and scoping studies. He has prepared technical reports for submission to security commissions and NI 43-101 reports as a Qualified Person.  Mr. Prenn is Mine Development’s Principal Engineer and frequently serves as Project Manager, directing all activities in completing a Client’s scope of work

   Steven Ristorcelli, CPG

Mr. Ristorcelli is Mine Development’s Principal Geologist and frequently serves as Project Manager.  Mr. Ristorcelli's primary focus has been in deposit modeling, identifying and correcting sampling problems, conducting geologic evaluations, performing geostatistical evaluations, and directing exploration programs.  He has performed numerous modeling and resource definition studies, including annual updates for projects in development and production and has prepared technical reports for submission to security commissions.  Mr. Ristorcelli is classified as a “Qualified Person” for Canadian Securities Exchanges.

   Scott Hardy, P.E.

Mr. Hardy is Mine Development’s Senior Engineer and frequently serves as Project Manager. Mr. Hardy has over 20 years experience as a practicing Mining Engineer performing all tasks associated with developing and operating mines, including defining and calculating ore reserves, designing mines, optimizing mine designs, mine planning and scheduling, and mine closure.  Mr. Hardy has a high degree of proficiency in computerized modeling techniques, reserve estimation, and pit optimization and design. He has conducted scoping studies and pre-feasibility studies, and has prepared technical reports for submission to security commissions. Mr. Hardy is classified as a “Qualified Person” for Canadian Securities Exchanges.

Michael Gustin

Responsible for providing geologic services for Mine Development's clients. Mr. Gustin has particular expertise in exploration management, project development, and field management and mapping.  Past experience has included target delineation and development, drilling supervision, and all aspects of field geology.  Mr. Gustin is Mine Development’s Senior Geologist and frequently serves as Project Manager.  He has conducted many resource definition studies and has prepared technical reports for submission to security commissions. Mr. Gustin is classified as a “Qualified Person” for Canadian Securities Exchanges.
